For AMPLECTOR Engineering, partnership and customer service comes first. As a team of engineers, computer scientists and designers, we work in an interdisciplinary manner and focus on the goals of our customers. Complex technical tasks are a welcome challenge for us. If necessary, we have a personal network of specialists from various fields available for special areas. 

The focus of our work is:

  • Software and system development for industrial applications (conception, development, design, testing), with a focus on non-destructive material testing
  • UX design, usability engineering, user interface design for test devices and applications
  • NDT training for levels 1 and 2, phased array and TOFD of non-destructive material testing with ultrasound
  • User training for BeamTool 9 (Windows software for sound field simulation in the field of ultrasonic testing)
  • Advice on all questions of industrial ultrasonic testing, for example device specifications, applications, techniques and procedures, quality assurance and procedural instructions

With almost 25 years of experience in ultrasound at the renowned companies Krautkramer and GE Inspection Technologies, Bernd Kirchner is familiar with numerous test devices and test systems. In a responsible position in the area of ​​software and system development, the most successful devices for ultrasonic testing were developed under his technical management and cooperation. Bernd Kirchner values ​​detailed analyzes and clearly structured processes, not least thanks to his extensive Six Sigma qualification (including Black Belt in DMAIC and DFSS) and his Microsoft certifications. In doing so, he keeps an eye on the profit for the customer in every project. His development of the manufacturer independent NDT software AMPLECTOR device manager for mobile ultrasonic testing devices finally led to the foundation of the company AMPLECTOR Engineering, which bundles the areas of development, user training and product support into an efficient overall concept for the UT industry.

Passing on his extensive expertise from more than 40 years of ultrasound experience is both a pleasure and a challenge for Michael Berke. As a graduate physicist, level 3 certified ultrasound tester and trainer, Michael Berke adapts to the most diverse questions and application scenarios of his clients. After 17 years as a NDT trainer at Krautkramer and 16 years of product management for conventional and phased array testing devices with a focus on phased array technology at Krautkrämer and GE Inspection Technologies, he has been a sought after lecturer for ultrasonic testing technology for more than 10 years and valued consultant for industrial ultrasonic inspection applications on the go.

For many years she has been working as a Bachelor Professional Finance in all areas of accounting. In the back office of AMPLECTOR Engineering she stands for the smooth running of the administration and a professional commercial representation in the external relations of the company.
